Dehradun: The outbreak of COVID-19 infection in Uttarakhand is increasing. On Tuesday, 658 newly infected patients have been found in the state within 24 hours. Along with this, the number of patients has now crossed 26 thousand. There are 8184 active cases in the state. According to the report released by the Health Department, 8283 samples were tested in 24 hours. There are 7625 samples negative and COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 658 samples.

In Dehradun, 248 COVID-19 patients have been found. 112 in Nainital, 82 in Haridwar, 56 in Udham Singh Nagar, 33 in Tehri, 24 in Uttarkashi, 24 in Almora, 23 in Champawat, 16 in Pithoragarh, 14 in Bageshwar, 11 in Rudraprayag, nine in Pauri and six in Chamoli city. -19 have been found infected. 12 COVID-19 patients have died in the state. In this, two in AIIMS Rishikesh, four in Doon Medical College, one in Mahant Indresh Hospital, two in Sushila Tiwari Medical College Haldwani, three COVID-19 patients in Base Hospital Srinagar have lost their lives.

The death toll has reached 360. 427 patients have been sent home after treatment. With this, 17473 patients have become healthy. The infection rate in the state is increasing continuously with the sample test. During the COVID-19 period, the infection rate in the state so far has been very high at 5.83 per cent. The recovery rate has come down as the figure of new patients reported is more than the patients recovered from COVID19. The recovery rate at present is 66.59 per cent. The cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state.
