Dehradun: In the case of covid-19 active case in the plains of the state, Doon has reached the ranks in the past. While Haridwar II, Udham Singh Nagar III and Nainital are ranked IV. There are currently 1809 active cases of COVID-19 in the city. While there are 1362 active cases in Haridwar, 1327 in Udham Singh Nagar and 995 in Nainital. However, excessive COVID-19 investigations have been conducted in Doon throughout the state. 73290 in Doon, 72778 in Haridwar, 69094 in Udham Singh Nagar and 36586 COVID-19 in Nainital have been conducted so far.

In August, Doon was ranked 4th in the plains, but suddenly the COVID-19 infections were on the first position within a week due to the increase in cases. The spread of COVID-19 infection in Dehradun city is increasing. For the third day in a year, the figure of COVID-19 infected patients crossed the record figure of 200. On Sunday, 235 new cases of COVID-19 infections were reported in the city.

So far, the figure of total patients infected COVID-19 in the district has reached 5376. While 160 patients infected covid-19 have returned home. On Sunday, Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik's test report came positive after he was admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS. 54 new COVID-19 infected AIIMS test reports have come in. CoVID-19 has also been confirmed in 32 patients who have been admitted earlier in Doon Hospital. With this, corona cases in the state are continuously increasing.
