A 48-year-old Covid-19 positive patient, a resident of Bijnor admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS Rishikesh, died. On 07 June, the patient was admitted to the complaint of breathing problem. Dr Madhur Uniyal, the Nodal Officer of All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Rishikesh, said that 48-year-old covid-positive man, resident of Dadupur, Najibabad District Bijnor Uttar Pradesh, admitted to the institute died on Wednesday morning. This person came to AIIMS Rishikesh Emergency on June 07 with extreme difficulty in breathing. He was immediately admitted to the isolation ward of AIIMS and his Covid sample was taken.
This person was admitted to the Covid ward on a ventilator. A 76-year-old woman living in the home quarantine died. The deceased was in the home quarantine with her husband from 02 June. Nodal Health Officer Dr Amarjeet Sahni said that the couple had been with their daughter in Delhi since March 18. The couple was trapped in Delhi due to the lockdown. On June 02, the couple arrived at their residence in Garhwal Sabha in Kashipur, where the health department had quarantined them. On June 08, when the elderly woman had a fever, her relatives took her to the hospital. Then the doctor was not aware of the said woman's home quarantine.
So she was sent home after giving medicines. On June 09, the woman was admitted to the hospital after her health worsened. She died there on Tuesday night. Her body was taken home after taking the death certificate from the hospital. On getting the information, the nodal officer saw the list of home quarantine, then they were stunned to see the details of the deceased in it. They immediately informed the ITI police station. On the information, SO Kuldeep, SI Pradeep Pant, SI Supriya Negi reached the spot. The police took the body of the deceased. A sample of the dead body has been sent for examination.
