In many states of India, the coronavirus is spreading faster than expected. Two more patients died of coronavirus infection in Rajasthan on Thursday. Meanwhile, with the arrival of 86 new cases, the number of corona virus-infected in the state has increased to 2,438.

In his statement, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) of the state Rohit Kumar Singh said that two more patients died in Jaipur on Thursday. The number of deaths related to coronavirus infection in the state has exceeded 57. Officials say that in most of the cases the patients were also suffering from some other serious disease. By 9 am 86 new cases were reported in the state. Of these, 14 cases were registered in Jaipur, 59 in Jodhpur, four in Ajmer, two in Tonk, three in Chittorgarh and one each in Kota, Baran, Dholpur and Alwar.

Lockdown may continue in this state till the end of May

In the total cases of coronavirus infection in Rajasthan, there are 61 Italian citizens as well as 61 people who were brought from Iran and placed in army health centres in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Lockdown has been implemented across the state since March 22 and curfew has been imposed in many police station areas.
