Most people in lockdown are spending most of their time on TV, mobile etc. Excessive use has also increased the chances of aggravating many diseases. Most patients suffering from shoulder, neck and back pain reached the Physiotherapy Center at District Hospital Almora for treatment in the month of May. Earlier, the therapy center was completely closed till the month of April after the lockdown started, but now people are relieved by moving the center again. During the lockdown, most of the people in the houses spent their time in mobile, TV etc.

Excellent means for entertainment TV, mobile usage has started to affect the health of people. Starting in the second fortnight of March, people were in the homes under lockdown till May. People have started complaining of neck pain, shoulder pain, body pain due to excessive use of these things in about two months time. Dr. Chaul Maheshwari, physiotherapist of the district hospital, said that since the lockdown started on March 22, the center was closed till the month of April. Here, the center resumed on May 4.

For your information, let us tell you that since which 360 patients reached for therapy in the month of May. Earlier, more than 500 patients of various diseases were reached in normal condition. The number of patients has declined in the month of May, but most of the patients are in shoulder, neck and back pain. The use of TV, mobiles is expected to increase neck and shoulder pain. At the same time, people are also expected to increase the complaints of back pain in the lockdown on disposal of household work, lifting heavy goods.
