New Delhi: The total number of Covid infected in the country has crossed 98 lakhs. For 14 days, there have been less than 40 thousand corona cases. In the last 24 hours, 30,254 new Corona cases reported. 391 people died due to Covid. The good thing is that on the previous day, 33,136 patients have recovered from the corona. The number of growing Covid cases in India is the highest in the world after America and Brazil. The country is at 8th position in the number of people who died in the world. There were about 90 thousand new cases coming up in India every day. Daily cases are coming down to an average of about 30 thousand. 

The total corona cases in India have increased to 98 lakh 57 thousand. Out of these, 1 lakh 43 thousand people lost their lives so far. Total active cases reduced to 3 lakh 56 thousand. So far, a total of 93 lakh 57 thousand people have recovered by beating Corona.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), till December 12, a total of 15 crores 37 lakh samples of Covid were tested, out of which 10 lakh samples will be tested tomorrow. The positivity rate in the country is 7%. In 26 states and union territories, the active cases are less than 20,000 and in 9 states and union territories, the active cases are more than 20,000.
