Haridwar: According to the information just received, Patanjali Yoga Peeth takes back its claim of making medicine to cure Coronavirus. Earlier, Patanjali had claimed that the corona virus can be easily treated with its medicine coronil. Patanjali Yoga Peetha responded to the notice sent by Uttarakhand AYUSH department on Monday i.e. 29 June 2020. In a reply sent to the Department of AYUSH, Patanjali completely reversed from his earlier claims.

According to the information received during the launch of Coronal on Tuesday, 23 June 2020, on the last week day, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna claimed treatment of corona with coronil, bronchie bati and anu oil. On this, on 24 June 2020, Uttarakhand AYUSH department issued a notice to Patanjali. But now Patanjali has reversed his claim. At the same time it is also being said that Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna had given a detailed information about this Ayurvedic medicine called Coronil by holding a press conference in Haridwar. During this period, Baba Ramdev also announced the results of clinical trials on corona-infected patients of Patanjali Ayurveda medicine Divya Coronil tablet.

It was claimed by Patanjali Yogpeeth that this research done on the corona tablet is being done with the joint efforts of Patanjali Research Institute Haridwar and National Institute of Medical Science Jaipur. Baba Ramdev had said at that time that only indigenous items can be used in this medicine. Muloy, decoction including Giloy, Ashwagandha, Tulsi, Breathri have been used in this medicine. Currently, in response to the notice sent by the Uttarakhand Ayush Department, Patanjali has completely turned around with his words. It is being told that in response, Patanjali wrote that he never claimed treatment for Corona. He only reported the results of the clinical trial of the Ayurveda drug Coronil tablet on corona infected patients. The use of this drug had a significant positive effect on the corona infected.
