Co-stars of Vampire Diaries get into a scuffle on Twitter

There has been a heated debate recently between two Hollywood stars. Vampire Diaries stars were seen trending on social media again. “Alaric” was trending after the Vice Presidential debate and it appears to be because of a Twitter clash between Vampire Diaries co-stars Paul Wesley and Matthew Davis (who played Alaric Saltzman on The CW show).  Obviously, as Davis watched, he was most bothered by Donald Trump's running mate allegedly not having enough speaking time. In since-deleted tweets, Davis advised Pence was disrupted too much by the moderator.

It all started when Matthew tweeted, “It’d be nice if the moderator would stop interrupting Pence and let him finish his point.” Paul answered directly, addressing, “It would also be nice if pence answered the question he was originally asked rather than deflecting.” He later deleted that too. Matthew quote tweeted that post and added, “Paul likes to vote for criminals and losers, just like he did in 2016. Your opinion on the matter carries little weight as far as I’m concerned. Next.” Paul then quickly clarified, “You’re mistaken! I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016.”

Paul then wrote, “Alaric drank some vervain he’s losing it.” Vervain is a herb from the show that would weaken vampires.  This pragmatic argument also included Davis taking jibes at Wesley's fans and sarcastically calling them "super classy" and signaling his boredom by typing "yawn." It seems that at that point, Wesley decided to move on and finished with, "Lighten up baby boy u know u miss me. @ImMatthew_Davis love you, buddy."
