SS Rajamouli’s 'RRR' created history because of its 'Naatu Naatu' song. The film has won some of the most prestigious awards in the entertainment industry. After RRR’s victory in the international award shows the star caste of the film busy in giving interviews on international platform with some of the best people in Hollywood. RRR Director Rajamouli was in an online interview with Hollywood director Steven Spielberg chatted and opens up on different issues. The duo also talked about Steven’s upcoming film The Fabelmans, released in India on Friday.
Steven also shared his reactions to Rajamouli's Telugu film RRR which he saw ahead of the online conversation. He praised the performances of Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in their talk. The Hollywood director hailed SS Rajamouli. He said, "It was amazing, couldn't believe my eyes. For me, it was like eye candy. I thought the performances of Rama [Jr NTR], Ram [Charan] and Alia [Bhatt], the cast was just... and Alison Doody, my girl from [Indiana Jones and the] Last Crusade.”
He further praised Rajamuouli said, “ In the movie, I was happy to see how you ended her story because she was so heinous as was her husband. The beautiful, visual style and extraordinary to look at and experience. Congratulations for RRR!" A delighted Rajamouli replied, "Thank you so much, I can almost get up from the chair and dance from your compliments. It means a lot to me."
Speaking of RRR, it is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era and is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan played Ram, NTR was seen as Bheem. The film has grossed over Rs. 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
