The livelihood of about 30 crore tribal and other local residents of India depends entirely on the forests. If it is about urban areas, then in urban areas also, trees and plants play an important role in keeping the environment clean. Knowing the importance of trees and plants, the concept of sacred groves developed in society. In which the local residents promote and preserve the developed groves (sacred forest area) in their area by the participation of the villagers. Any movement in such areas and exploitation of natural resources is prohibited. This is possible because the local people living there have complete knowledge of the environment caused by trees and forests. This hypothesis has been going on for a long time.
In different states of the country, these holy groves are known by different names, but the concept is the same. Not only this, various tree plants like Peepal, Banyan, Mango, Pallas, Mandar, etc. are worshiped in Hinduism. Due to which such types of plants are least damaged and society has been making a special contribution in its growth. If we analyze about plants, then mainly two categories of plants can be seen.
First-class, local (native), and second - external (foreign), we keep familiarizing the country from time to time for these foreign plants for business needs. Such as Eucalyptus, Lucina prasopis, Achelia lycoscephala, Acacea miranji, Pinus petula, Caseia cymia (gum). The second type of exotic plants are those which have entered the country by some other means. Mainly found in these are Lantana, Carrotghas, Van Tulsi, etc. It has been observed from various studies that due to the planting of these exotic plants, biodiversity is being damaged and on the other hand these plants have little support in the livelihood of the local people. If seen, the entire human being depends on the tree plants. It is necessary to take care of them properly because our existence is possible only due to these trees.
