Recently, a case of crime has come to light from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, a couple in Hukulganj area of Kent police station area committed suicide by poisoning their two children and hanging themselves. The deceased have been identified as Kishan Gupta (32), wife Neelam (28), daughter Shikha (five) and son Ujjwal (6). Senior Superintendent of Police Suresh Rao Kulkarni said, "Hukulganj resident Momose vendor Kishan Gupta committed suicide after suffering from illness. The husband and wife are swinging at the snare by feeding the two children with poison," he said.

"The foam was coming out of the mouth of both the children and the wife's body was found hanging from the snare. There is a suicide note from the spot, in which Kishan mentions his eyesight. The police are also looking into other aspects of suicide.

"Kishan had a lot of debt," says the brother. "This is not the first such case, but there have been a number of cases that have been shocking.
