Jaipur: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi's husband and businessman Robert Vadra was heard in a Delhi court today in a money laundering case. Robert Vadra sought permission from the court to go abroad. The court allowed Robert Vadra to go to the US and the Netherlands. However, Vadra was seeking permission to go to London, but he has not received it.

After the court order Robert Vadra can go abroad for 6 weeks. And if some kind of lookout notice is issued in these 6 weeks, it will not apply. Robert Vadra, in his application, said that he was ill and that is why he wanted to go to London to undergo treatment. After the last hearing in the court, when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Vadra, he had not been present.

On Tuesday they have to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED). They were not present in the previous summons, so they could be showered with questions. The passport of Robert Vadra is still deposited with the court. He has filed a medical certificate and urged the court to release the passport. However, this insistence by Robert Vadra on behalf of ED has been resisted. Robert Vadra was said to have tumors in his large intestine and for its treatment he has to go London.
