Rampur: The court has issued orders to confiscate the property of Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Azam Khan, MLA wife Tazin Fatma and his former MLA son Abdullah Azam Khan from Rampur Lok Sabha seat in the matter of making two birth certificates. The ADG 6 court of Rampur has issued attachment orders under section 83. Earlier, the court issued the notice for attachment under section 82.

Azam Khan remained absent for hearing on the date of the case, after which the court ordered attachment action against him. In this case, Munadi has also been done against Azam Khan in Rampur. The court on Monday rejected the interim bail of Azam, Tanzin, and Abdullah.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Akash Saxena filed a case against Azam Khan, Tazin Fatma, and Abdullah under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 in Ganj police station. It is alleged that Azam's son Abdullah has got two separate birth certificates made on the basis of fake documents. One certificate was issued from Rampur municipality and the other from Lucknow hospital. The date of birth is written separately in both.
