Jaunpur: The court has given a big verdict in the case of rape and murder of a minor in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. In this case, the court has sentenced the accused to death. The accused had run away from his in-laws' house after committing the crime. Let me tell you that an 11-year-old girl was first raped and murdered by a young man in the Madiyaw police station area of the district seven months ago and strangled for fear of being caught.
The case of Jaunpur minor rape and murder was going on in the court for the last seven months. On Monday, Additional Sessions Judge Poxo I Ravi Yadav sentenced the accused to death. During the hearing of the case, the prosecution counsel told the court that Balagovind alias Govinda of Chandauli, who works on brick and kiln, was living in his in-laws Madihu. On August 6 last year, the accused provided 11-year-old child and his younger sister with toffee and biscuits from a shop. After this, sent the younger sister home and lured the elder sister to the maize field and raped her. Fearing that the matter might not open anywhere, he strangled the child and stabbed him to death.
After this, the accused burned the acid by putting acid on the victim's face and escaped after hiding the dead body in the field. When the younger sister told her to go home, the housemates started looking for the girl. Two days later the villagers told that the girl's body is in the field. The police conducted a post-mortem. In which the death was confirmed due to raping and death of the deceased.
