Bengaluru: With 8,580 new cases of corona infection reported in Karnataka on Wednesday, the total number of patients in the state has increased to 3,00,406. The Health Department said that on Wednesday, Corona infection caused 133 more deaths, including 5,091 people lost their lives in the state. At the same time, 7,249 infected have been cured during this time period.

According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, so far 2,11,688 people have become corona free in the state while 83,608 patients are under treatment, out of which 760 are admitted in the Intensive Care Cell (ICU) due to the critical condition of the infected. According to this, out of the new cases revealed on Wednesday, 3,284 new cases were reported in Bengaluru urban area alone, while 31 of the new cases of death were related to this area.

Of the cases of death from Corona, twenty in Mysore, 11 in Dakshina Kannada, 8 in Dharwad, 7 in Bellary, 6 in Koppal, 5 in Bagalkot, Belagavi and Davangere, 4 in Hassan, Kolar, Tumkuru and Vijayapura As many as 25,80,621 samples have been investigated so far in the state.
