The omicron variant, the dangerous variant of the coronavirus, is currently wreaking havoc around the world. At present, the variant is fast infecting people in India as well and more than 400 cases have been reported in a few days. In view of the spread of omicrons, experts have started advising that it is time to upgrade the mask. In fact, the Omicron variant is very dangerous, and it can be understood that within about a month of the confirmation of this variant in South Africa, it has spread to more than 100 countries and has infected a large number of people.

In India, the number has crossed the 400 mark last Saturday and 436 cases have been reported. Because of this, the time has come for people to upgrade the "Universal Vaccine" instead of masks for war against the coronavirus. Dr. Leena Wayne, a visiting professor of health policy and management at George Washington University Milken institute school of public health and medical analyst, told CNN that the cloth masks are only "slightly more than facial decorations." Saying this, he made it clear that it was nothing in view of Omicron. In fact, he says, "We need to wear at least three-ply surgical masks. You can wear a cloth mask over it, but don't wear a cloth mask alone.”

Similarly, Erin Bromez, an associate professor of biology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, said, "Cloth masks can filter large droplets. Also, at a press conference on the covid-19 situation, NITI Aayog member (Health) Dr. VK Paul said that "the use of masks in India is declining and people are working at a "risky and unacceptable" level, emphasizing that both masks and vaccines are necessary. Coronavirus is important for protection from disease (Covid-19). Now children in India are also going to get vaccines.
