Mumbai: The Maharashtra government last Monday allowed people under the age of 18 to visit shopping malls after showing valid age proof who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19. In fact, the State Government has already allowed fully vaccinated people to go to shopping malls. Shopping malls can now remain open till 10 pm on all days. In fact, a government order (GO) issued last Monday under guidelines to break the chain of corona infection here says, "Since vaccination for people below the age of 18 has not yet started, they will have to show their age proof documents like Aadhaar card, PAN card issued by the Income Tax Department, valid school or college Identity Card which mentions the date of birth, at the entry point of the mall.''

Further, the Government order also says, "All shopping malls are allowed to operate till 10 pm on all days, provided all employees including customers/citizens and managers and housekeeping staff visiting the mall have the final vaccination certificate for receiving two doses of covid-19 vaccine.''

It also says, "All customers will have to show their final vaccination certificate with photo identity proof at the entry point of the mall.'' Let us also tell all of you that 4,145 new corona cases have been reported in Maharashtra last Monday and 100 patients have died in the last 24 hours.
