Recently, the Union Health Ministry said, "Cases of corona infection and TB should not be linked together. So far, no concrete evidence or any scientific evidence has been revealed.''

Moreover, the government also says, "Both diseases are infectious and mainly attack the lungs, but it would not be right to accuse both of them so far.'' In fact, some reports some time ago claimed that doctors in Madhya Pradesh have found that the number of TB patients is suddenly increasing and all of them are related to Covid. The Union Health Ministry, after refuting reports of links between corona infection and TB, has said, "The notification of TB case in India has come down by about 25 percent due to "impact of covid-19 related restrictions" in 2020.''

In addition, the Ministry also says that a person recovering from covid due to weak immunity in cases of post-covid infection can be infected with the TB virus. In fact, recently, the Health Ministry has said, "TB bacilli can be present in humans in an inactive state and can spread very fast if a person's immunity is weak for any reason.'' The ministry says that even though there is no risk of TB infection due to corona infection, the weak immune system of the patient who recovered after covid is not able to fight the TB virus completely, which can cause people to get infected with TB.
