The Country Britain reported another 24,248 Covid cases in the latest 24-hour time, scaling up the total number of coronavirus cases to 4,903,434, according to Britainofficial figures released on Sunday. The country also recorded another 15 covid-related deaths, taking the national death toll to 128,222. These figures only include the deaths of people who died within 28 days of their first positive test, as per reports.
As per reports, Britain's Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick as saying said, that there will be a "much more permissive regime" of coronavirus measures in England once the remaining restrictions are eased, with the wearing of face masks a personal choice. The data at the moment look very positive, ahead of a final decision by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on whether the final step of England's roadmap out of COVID-19 restrictions will take place in just over two weeks, Jenrick statement adds.
Global Covid Watch: The other worst countries with over 3 million cases are Brazil (18,769,808), France (5,848,171), Russia (5,544,209), Turkey (5,440,368), Argentina (4,535,473), Colombia (4,350,495), Italy (4,263,317), Spain (3,833,868), Germany (3,738,470) and Iran (3,254,818), the CSSE figures showed.
