India records a sharp spike in daily Covid-19 cases today (April 13) at 10,158 compared to the previous day. Data from the health ministry shows that there are currently 44,998 active infections, i.e, 30 percent rise from April 12.

According to a daily bulletin released by the Delhi Health Department, the national capital on Wednesday recorded 1,149 new coronavirus infections, a significant increase from Tuesday's reported 980 cases.
