New Delhi: India has reported 2,858 new cases of COVID-19 in  the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. "The country's weekly positivity rate is currently 0.66 percent, with a daily positivity rate of 0.59 percent," according to the statement.

In the last 24 hours, the country has reported 3,355 recoveries and 11 Covid deaths on 4,86,963 tests, according to the data. India's recovery rate has now reached 98.74 percent. According to the ministry, the total number of recovered patients (from the start of the pandemic) has reached 4,25,76,815.

"The number of active cases in India is presently 18,096. Active cases currently account for 0.04 percent of all positive cases in the country "it stated. Over 84.34 Cr (84,34,31,758) cumulative tests have been completed so far, with 4,86,963 tests completed just in the last 24 hours.

According to preliminary data as of 7 am Saturday, India's COVID-19 immunisation coverage has surpassed 191.15 Cr (1,915,90,370), with 2,38,96,925 sessions.
