BJP president J P Nadda said on Wednesday the Covid-19 vaccine will be available for all in the country by December. Nadda also accused the Congress of spreading anarchy at the time of the pandemic.

“India developed two indigenous vaccines for the first time in just nine months, which have been administered to 18 crore Indians so far. By the end of December, the vaccine will be available to all and its calendar has been set,” he said.

Nadda made the announcement while reviewing the Covid-19 situation in Rajasthan with BJP state president Satish Poonia and state party MPs in a virtual interaction.

He said the Modi government at the Center has ensured the availability and supply of oxygen and medicines to all the states  and Union Territories in March itself, asking them to prepare for the second wave of the pandemic.

India yesterday crossed a significant landmark amid this fight against the Covid-19 virus after the cumulative number of coronavirus vaccines administered neared 18.7 crores.

“The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country stands at 18,69,89,265. According to the government data, 96,85,597 Healthcare Workers have taken the first dose and 66,67,071 HCWs have taken the second dose, while 1,46,34,130 Frontline Workers have received their first dose and 82,56,235 frontline workers have received their second dose.
