A researcher from Hyderabad's Indian Institute of Technology has developed the Covid-19 test with Artificial Intelligence. Previously, people had to wait for 24 hours for the result of Covid-19 test, this test kit will reveal the result in 20 minutes. It was tested at ESIC Medical College, Hyderabad. The cost of a test is around 600 rupees. Due to more production of this kit, the price will be reduced further, which can be up to Rs 350.

It is easy to take this test kit anywhere and it will also take very less time to carry. The kit was developed by a team led by Professor Shiv Govind Singh of the Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Hyderabad. Apart from Dr Suryasnata Tripathi Patta Supraja, other students in the research team of Shiv Govind Singh also helped in developing this project. The team has also discovered the Artificial Intelligence Tool to reduce errors in decision making. They are now seeking permission from ICMR for the production of large quantities of test kits. 

The first case of coronavirus was reported in the city of Wuhan, China in December last year, which took the form of an epidemic by March. No vaccine or medicine has been developed for this so far. However, scientists are busy developing vaccines against this deadly virus in many countries around the world.
