Ottawa: Most of the cases of infection in Canada are in Canadian youth. This information was given by a senior health officer. Quoting Theresa Tam, the Chief Public Health Officer of Canada, the news agency has said, 'Most of the cases of infection are in youth in the age group of 20-39. 63% of confirmed cases last week are in the age group of 39 years.
It should also be mentioned here that cases of the virus have been found more in men than women. In every 1 lakh population, 14.4 percent of men are infected, while 13.8 percent of women are infected. Tam said that on an average, 485 infection cases are coming in every day and till Sunday, the total cases of infection have been more than 1 lakh 13 thousand, while more than 8 thousand people have died of deaths in the country.
He has requested the people of the country to follow all the necessary orders for prevention of epidemics and take strict precautions including wearing face masks and obeying physical distance orders. He says that this deadly infection can attack not only young people but at any age. He said that the youth would not have to face more serious situations.
