Mumbai: The number of corona infected people is increasing day by day in Maharashtra. In the meantime, vaccination is also being done at a rapid pace. Now, as per the recent information received, the state has set a great record last Monday. In fact, Maharashtra has given vaccine to 5 lakh people in a day in the State. Let me tell you that this figure is up to 6 p.m. In fact, earlier on 3rd April, Maharashtra had set a national record by giving vaccine doses to 4 lakh 62 thousand 735 people.

On April 26, Maharashtra took the record to 5 lakh. After learning about the news, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Health Minister Rajesh Tope congratulated all the officials, doctors and staff associated with the vaccination programme. You all must be aware that Maharashtra has been at number one ever since the vaccination drive of the country started. So far, 1.43 crore 42 thousand 716 citizens had already been vaccinated, now, if last Monday's figure is added, the number reaches about 14.8 crores.

It can be said that this figure will cross 1.5 crores today. However, the claim was made by Pradeep Vyas, Principal Secretary, Department of Health while giving details of the data. Let me tell you that Maharashtra had the highest number of vaccine doses being given last Monday, or 6155 vaccination centres. Out of these, 5347 are said to be Government and 808 are private centres. In fact, in view of the growing crisis in corona, the need to speed up vaccination in the state was felt and due to this, the State Health Minister said, "The target is to speed it up soon and give vaccines to 8 lakh people a day. '
