While corona vaccination is going on at a very fast pace in the country, there are times when the beneficiary's vaccine certificate is flawed. There is no need to worry if there is an error in your vaccine certificate. The Health Ministry has opened up the option of improving the certificate to the beneficiaries. Beneficiaries can now correct the errors in their corona vaccination certificate on the CoWIN portal on their own. Union Health Ministry Additional Secretary Vikas Sheel on Wednesday said the government has added a new feature to the CoWIN platform to rectify errors in corona vaccination certificates.

According to a tweet through Arogya Setu's Twitter handle, you can now correct errors in name, date of birth and gender in your Covin certificate. You have to login to http://cowin.gov.in to correct these types of errors. After which you will get a new feature of certificate improvement here.

Follow these steps:-
After the login, you have to click on 'Rage an Issue'. This feature will be available at the top of the ride side after login. After which you have to select the name of the beneficiary concerned. At the same time, you will see three options below as soon as you select the correction in certificate button below it. Name, Gender and Year of Birth. You can select any of these which contains an error in your certificate. Errors in one or three options can be corrected at once. As soon as you select on a name, you'll find different columns to correct below. Here you can correct the correct name, date of birth or gender.
