It is already known how much humans love pets. They consider pets as part of their family. When it comes to the cow, it is also given the status of the mother in Hinduism. A beautiful sight of immense affection for animals has been found in the Kallakurichi district of Tamil Nadu. A baby shower program was also organized for a pregnant cow here.

For the people of a village near Shankarapuram in the Kallakurichi district, this has become a unique opportunity on Monday. More than 500 people were involved in this program, mostly women. A baby shower ceremony was also performed for a cow named Amshaweni in Melapattu village near Shankarapuram in the Kallakurichi district. Amshaveni is brought up by the trustees of the Rultharam Thirupurasundariyamai Temple Trust.

A large number of women in traditional and luxurious clothes had gone to the program of Godbharai of a pregnant cow. Along with this, they have presented 24 different types of dishes including fruits and sweets traditionally served in the middle of the cow's baby shower ceremony. Apart from this, 48 ​​different items including bangles were presented to the cow. Women decorated the cow's horns with colorful bangles.

Before the program of the baby shower, the cow has been given a special Abhishek and bath by the priests of the temple. Along with this, the cow has been decorated with garlands and traditional metal bells. The villagers took the blessings of the cow, considered a sacred animal in Hindu tradition, and prayed to God for the prosperity of the village. Along with this, the priests offered Prasad and gave Prasad to all the people who came to the ceremony.
