He played a crucial role in making the team a place in the final by playing a blistering inning in the first qualifier. Guyana did a wonderful job by winning the 11th consecutive win of the Amazon Warriors team in the Caribbean Premier League. The win included the historic innings of opener Brandon King.
He scored the greatest innings in the history of CPL, scoring 132 runs. The Warriors team scored 218 on the basis of King's fiery innings and won by 30 runs against Barbados Tridents. Brandon King, who came to the opening for the team of the Amazon Warriors, made history in the CPL after playing a stormy inning of 132 off just 72 balls. With 10 fours and 11 sixes, King played the biggest innings of the tournament. This is the first century of King's T20 career, which he completed in just 59 balls.
