Raise your hand if you feel nostalgic when you hear the name Cream roll. If yes, then relive your old golden childhood days and prepare these easy-to-make Cream Rolls at home. This dessert recipe is an unquestionably required attempt and you should serve it to your children to let them encounter the extraordinary feelings which you had in your childhood. Also, you don't need a long list of ingredients to prepare these scrumptious rolls. These puff pastry rolls loaded with vanilla cream is that one recipe on which you might want to binge on again and again.

Ingredients of Cream Roll

puff pastry sheet as required

8 tablespoon milk

2 cup unsalted butter

4 cup powdered sugar

2 teaspoon vanilla essence

How to make Cream Roll

Step 1

To start with, take puff pastry sheet and cut it into long ribbon like piece. Cut as many pieces you want. Make sure that all the pieces are neither too wide nor too thin in width.

Step 2

Now, take wood dowels and roll a piece of puff pastry sheet around it. Roll other pieces around the dowels as well. Now, cook them in oven at 180 degree Celsius for about 40 minutes.

Step 3

When done, remove from oven and let it cool. When cooled slightly, take the wood out of the cooked pastry rolls.

Step 4

Meanwhile, take a bowl and add vanilla essence, powdered sugar and butter. Mix it and add milk slowly-slowly to the mixture while mixing it.

Step 5

When done, transfer the mixture in a piping bag and roll the piping bag. Cut the tip of piping bag. Take puff pastry roll and pipe in the mixture inside the opening/center of the roll.

Step 6

Once done, serve it fresh.
