Dehradun: A woman killed her husband by cutting his private part in Digans village. The woman first cut off her husband's private part and then strangled him to death with a rope. The woman has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days after being produced before the court.
Late on the night of February 13, 35-year-old Sunita Devi cut off the private part of her husband Jitendra Ram, who was sleeping in a deep sleep, with a blade in Kotli Patti Dingas village. When the husband began to suffer, she strangled him with a rope and killed him. Her daughter witnessed the entire incident and informed her uncle about it. Police, who rushed to the spot on the information of Jitendra's brother, took the woman into custody. The revenue police have seized the blade and the rope. Tehsildar Pankaj Chandola said that the woman has been sent to 14-day judicial custody after being produced before the court.
38-year-old Jitendra Ram had returned home late at night after campaigning. He had an argument with his wife Sunita Devi. Thereafter, Sunita cut off Jitendra Ram's private part with the blade. It took his life. Sunita's daughter had seen her mother's behaviour and reported it to her uncle. Revenue police, who rushed to the spot, lodged a complaint of murder and sent Sunita to jail. Sunita has alleged that Jitendra Ram used to torture her every day. She was also beaten several times. Because of this, she was very upset. She also alleged that on the day of the incident, he had come drunk. Upset, she took this step.
