An unfortunate incident struck the crew during shotting of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani next titled 'Kabir Singh' in the hills of Mussoorie. A generator operator died during the shooting of Kabir Singh at a hotel in Mussoorie on Thursday.

 According to source, Ram Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, died in a freak accident at the five-star hotel where the film’s unit is staying. Ram was among the local crew and was working with the film unit from Dehradun as a generator operator.

As per the souce, incident took  place when he was checking the water level in the generator when his muffler got entangled with the generator’s fan and in the process, Kumar too was pulled in. He sustained serious injuries on his head. He was immediately admitted  to Max Hospital in DehraDun where he was put on the ventilator for a few hours before he passed away

Kabir Singh is a remake of the Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy.’ Arjun Reddy had Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. The movie has is making buzz since it went on floors. Kabir Singh is directed by Sandeep Vanga.
