A heart wrenching incident reporting from Hyderabad Kukatpally. Here  an engineering student was strangulated to death and her body dumped in a sump by a relative.  Let us share that the incident took place on Saturday but came to light on Monday.  Victim is identified as Manjula (19), a resident of Moosapet. Victim was into a friendship with accused. Accused is also her relative, identified as Bhupathi. As per reporting he often visited her house.

Let us share this incident in brief that on Saturday, Bhupathi called Manjula to his house on the pretext of discussing some personal issues. After that he commit this crime. Manjula’s relatives, who were searching for her since Saturday, approached the police and lodged a missing complaint. On coming to know about this, Bhupathi surrendered before the police.

Kukatpally SHO T Narsing Rao said that “He used a scarf to strangulate her to death, after which he dumped her body in a water sump in the house and fled the spot,”.   He told the police that since childhood, relatives were keen on getting Manjula married to him. However, over the last few weeks, there were some issues between the two.
