New Delhi: A case has been registered against a doctor who posted videos on social media against the 2020 Coronavirus, which was found to be fake from the very beginning. The Cyber Cell of the Delhi Crime Branch has taken suo motu cognizance and lodged an FIR against Dr. Tarun Kothari, who called Corona an international conspiracy and urged people not to wear masks.

Tarun Kothari, MD, MBBS radiologist working in Delhi had become a sensation on social media since last year. Recently, Kothari had uploaded a video, in which he said, 'Whether the PM speaks, whether the police commissioner says, an IAS officer or a journalist says, don't wear a mask at all. The mask will lead to a lack of oxygen, which will lead to respiratory diseases, you will be admitted to the hospital, there will be wrong treatment and you will be counted among those who die of the corona. So stop wearing masks and make this video viral across the country.''

Along with this, in many of his videos, Kothari is appealing to people not to follow physical distance, not to wear masks, and not to get vaccines. Kothari says that this is a common flu, but it is being described as an epidemic under an international conspiracy.
