New Delhi: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has recently revealed a shocking incident. In fact, in a major operation, Delhi police have caught the accused who sold an innocent minor girl for 60,000 rupees for the lure of money. Alok Kumar, Joint Commissioner, Crime Branch, Delhi Police is said to have informed about the same. He said the minor girl was sold in Agra in Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, the minor girl has been recovered from the Sikar area of Rajasthan. On the other hand, Joint Commissioner Alok Kumar said, "When the investigation was conducted, it was found that the youth of Rajasthan was not getting a girl for marriage then he had purchased a girl from middlemen who went missing from Delhi. In this case, Delhi Police's Shalimar Bagh police had received a complaint from a victim's family living in the Haiderpur area that their 15-year-old daughter had gone missing from near their house since October 16. In view of the seriousness of the case, the case was transferred to the Crime Branch team of Delhi Police and subsequently, a team led by ACP SK Gulia and Inspector Amaleshwar Rai was formed and several jawans including Head Constable Gopal Krishna, Sepoy Vijay Kumar were inducted under them for the operation.

Investigation revealed that the missing girl was in touch with a boy named Neeraj Sonkar who lives around her house. It was then revealed that the missing girl was seen going somewhere with Neeraj and a girl named Muskan living in the Rohini area of Delhi. After knowing all this, the crime branch team scanned the entire story and rescued the missing girl from the clutches of the accused.
