Karnal: A gruesome incident of murder of a couple from Haryana has come to light. In the incident, a couple was found dead. Attempt to rape is made before killing the woman. In the morning, the bodies of both of them were found in a semi-immobile condition. An attempt was also made to burn the dead body with cots and clothes. On receipt of the information, the team of DSP, police station in-charge, forensics reached the spot.  According to the police, the assailants may have committed the murder.

The police sent both bodies for postmortem. The cause of the murder is not yet known. On the complaint of the nephew, the police have started investigating by registering a case against another, including a nominee. A young man and his wife worked in the district of Satpal, a resident of Muzaffarnagar district. The couple was living here for many years working as a laborer. Both husband and wife lived in a room made in the fields.

The nephew of the deceased alleged that Prince and one of his companions, a resident of Gagasina, came on a bike to his uncle late Wednesday evening. Leaving them, he went to Moonak and as it was night he stopped at his friend. About six o'clock in the morning, when he reached the room built in the field, his uncle's body was lying in the room. Aunt's body was lying fifty yards away. The attackers also tried to burn the cots and clothes lying near the corpse. Hearing about the incident, people gathered there. The police is investigating the matter.
