JAMMU: Rajat Kumar, a resident of Akhnoor, Jammu, was to be married a month later. He used to work as a private teacher. Rajat had gone for a walk on September 6. However, he did not come home for the whole day on 6 September. On September 7, Rajat's family lodged a complaint with the Akhnoor police about his disappearance. His mobile phone was also switched off. On September 13, a doctor at Kathua Hospital told Rajat's family that Rajat was admitted to Kathua Hospital.

From here he is being referred to the Medical College Hospital in Jammu. Actually, the doctor knew the family of Rajat. On the day of 13 September, when Rajat was brought to GMC, he died. At present, after the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. Police immediately registered a case under section 174 and started investigation.

Meanwhile, information is also coming out that on the evening of 12 September, Rajat caught a Sampark Kranti train from Jammu railway station going to Delhi. He was in a general coach. When the train reached Kathua, Rajat got off the train. He told the GRP police present there that he had a stomachache. After this GRP took him to Kathua Hospital. Rajat was referred from Kathua Hospital on 13 September to the Medical College, Jammu. The police is investigating the case
