Sangrur: The incident of the death of three people by train has been reported from Sangrur in Punjab. Two friends died in this incident. While on duty, the Home Guard jawan died due to the grip of the train. Police is investigating the death of two boys, whether it was an accident or both the youths have committed suicide. Railway Police ASI Nardev Singh said that the drivers of the trains gave information that there are two dead bodies on the railway track. Railway police reached the spot and took the dead bodies of both into theri possession.

The deceased have been identified as Sandeep Singh (Shahpur) and Dilpreet Singh Cheema. He feared that the case seems to be a suicide and the police is investigating. At present, post mortem of the dead bodies is being done by taking action under Section 174 on the statement of family members. Mela Singh, Dilpreet Singh's father, told that her son had gone to the Kali Mata temple in Patiala to visit his friend Sandeep Singh. About ten years ago his mother died and that is why he was upset.

Sandeep Singh's father Vinod Kumar said that both the had gone to see Maa Kali on Thursday. On Friday, they received the news that both of them died due to the grip of the train. In the second case, Home Guard Jawan Gurmeet Singh, who was doing duty in village Chhajli, suddenly got hit by the train. Due to this, he died on the spot. ASI Naradev Singh said that action has been taken under section 174.
