Meerut: An incident of police encounter has emerged from Uttar Pradesh. Two miscreants were running away after snatching earrings from a woman who is resident of Enclave Colony in Kanker Kheda area of the police station in Meerut district of the state. In order to escape, he encounters the police. In this encounter, both the miscreants got shot in the leg. The police have seized the coil from the miscreants. And has started further proceedings. Anju Devi wife Satendra Malik, a resident of Defense Enclave of Kankarkheda police station area, was walking in the colony on Tuesday evening.

It is alleged that two miscreants who came from black bikes looted their coils. On opposing, he started pushing and escaping. People surrounded the miscreants as Anju made noise. After the miscreant's bike slipped, people grabbed and beaten them both. Both miscreants started escaping from the public. At the same time CO Daurala Jitendra Sargam and Inspector Kankarkheda arrived with BP Rana Force.

The miscreants opened fire on the police team. In retaliatory firing, both the miscreants were shot in the leg by the police. During interrogation, the accused named Nitin and Aman resident Kankarkheda. The police is investigating the case. The injured miscreants are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. Police have called the victim for identification.
