Muzaffarnagar: In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a woman has made serious allegations against a top official of the Electricity Corporation. The woman has accused the officer of grabbing five lakh rupees in the name of getting her son's job and calling her home on the pretext of sniffing intoxicating books and raping her and making video clips.

Police is talking about the investigation after the complaint came. The woman sent a complaint letter to the senior officers as well as the Prime Minister, Chief Minister and the National Commission for Women, stating that on September 2, she met a senior officer of the Electricity Corporation at the district headquarters to get the electricity bill corrected.

The woman alleges that the officer allegedly lured her into getting a son's job in the Electricity Corporation and asked him to give five lakh rupees in the beginning, stating the cost of ten lakh. The victim, along with her brothers, gave the officer five lakh rupees at her residence. It is alleged that on 15 September, the officer called him to his residence on the pretext of meeting the Energy Minister.

At her home, the officer sniffed the woman by asking her to make books for the minister, making the victim unconscious. After the rape, the accused officer dumped the victim in a car in a state of semi-cruelty and left him on the Jansath bypass and escaped. Police said that action would be initiated after writing the report on behalf of the woman.
