Unidentified criminals handed over the fire to a passenger bus called Sarvagi at Mahudar block headquarters in the district late Tuesday night. Because of that, the whole bus was burnt down. The bus owner Raju Prasad said that his car was parked in front of his house in the past night. Meanwhile, at about 12:30 p.m., the accused suddenly handed over the bus to the fire.
It is learnt that after the tyre burst of the bus due to the fire, the people were still present sleeping and the whole bus was burning. After which the bus owner, along with the people nearby, tried his best to control the fire. After getting the information, the police force also rushed to the spot and tried to control the fire. But by then the fire had just completely burned down.
According to information received, the bus owner said that the bus is a den of drug addicts these days around the airbase. Two or three days ago, they had also fought with the addicts. The addicts may have set the bus ablaze. The police is investigating the entire matter after the incident. Police say the culprits will soon be in the grip of the police. It may be known that the spot is located at a distance of just 200 metres from Mahudar police station. Even then, this kind of an incident by the culprits is an atmosphere of fear among the people.
