New Delhi: Two Central Reserve Police Force personnel have died in a shootout at 61 Lodhi Estate, a posh area of the country's capital. This incident has come out from a kothi in the area. Several senior officials have reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. There are houses in this area from leaders to big businessmen. When echoes of gunfire were heard in the posh area, there was an atmosphere of fear among the people.
According to the media report, it is being told that the CRPF sub-inspector shot a CRPF inspector first and then shot himself and committed suicide. After this, both the soldiers died on the spot. At the moment, no reason has been revealed for this incident. When the police team reached the spot, two CRPF personnel were injured by the bullet. Both succumbed shortly.
Investigation has revealed that there was some dispute between Sub Inspector Karnail Singh of CRPF and Inspector Dashrath Singh. The matter went so far that the Sub Inspector shot the Inspector first and then shot himself and committed suicide. At present, the police is investigating the case.
