Puducherry: Friday, A crude bomb was hurled on the premises of a police station in nearby Mudaliarpet by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle but there were no casualties, police said.
They said the bomb fell on the main gate of the station and exploded. The police personnel rushed out on hearing the sound but the duo had already fled the spot.
Senior police officers went to the incident place and launched an investigation, they said, adding that special teams have been formed to trace the duo.
