Some sources close to the media reported that the Taliban-led govt in Afghanistan has denied arresting a female protester from her house. According to media reports, Tamana Zaryab Paryani revealed in a video tape on Wednesday that Taliban militants were knocking on her door and wanted to take her and her sisters.

Some western media sources reported that Taliban affiliates broke into Paryani's apartment and arrested her and her three sisters. The Interior Ministry answered by denying the arrest and saying that no Taliban personnel broke into Paryani's flat.

The video was fake, according to Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid, and the protester made it to seek asylum abroad. Paryani was one of 20 Afghan women who challenged the Taliban government's announcement that women must wear hijab.
