Cryptocurrency markets have fallen in the last 24 hours,. According to CoinMarketCap data, the global market cap has dropped 2.07 percent in the last 24 hours to USD1.94 trillion as of 8:00 a.m. IST.

Bitcoin is currently priced at USD42,042, down 1.71 percent. Ethereum is now trading at USD3,1182, down 2.24 percent. n the previous 24 hours, the USDT Tether stablecoin has gained 0.02 percent in value, while the USDC stablecoin has lost 0.03 percent.  The BNB token has lost 2.63 percent of its value.

The price of XRP Ripple has dropped by 2.30 percent. The ADA token has lost 3.06 percent of its value.  In the last 24 hours, Terra LUNA has lost 6.09 percent of its value.  Solana lost 1.64 percent of its value. Avalanche has lost 6.15 percent of its value.

This decline comes as a number of businesses, including Starbucks, Shopify, McDonalds, Walmart, Wholefoods, Chipotle, and others, have begun to accept Bitcoin over the Lightning Network in an effort to increase Bitcoin acceptability. Furthermore, Honduras Prospera, a special economic zone in Honduras, has accepted Bitcoin as legal money, making it the second city in the world to do so after Lugano.
