Over the last 24 hours, the global cryptocurrency market capitalization fell by 0.49 percent to USD2.01 trillion, while trading volume increased by 0.07 percent to USD77.53 billion.

Stablecoins accounted for 78.30 percent of the overall 24-hour crypto trading volume, or USD60.71 billion, while decentralised finance (DeFi) contributed for 15.85 percent at USD12.29 billion. Bitcoin's market domination increased by 0.38 percent to 40 percent this morning, and it was trading at USD42,420.27.

Bitcoin rose 0.59 percent to Rs 33,93,244 in rupee terms, while Ethereum lost 1.78 percent to Rs 2,52,909 in rupee terms. Cardano was down 5.26 percent at Rs 120.59, while Avalanche was down 0.85 percent at Rs 6,879.58. Over the last 24 hours, Polkadot has down 2.12 percent to Rs 2,021.25 while Litecoin has dropped 5.53 percent to Rs 11,264.1. The price of tether increased by 0.21 percent to Rs 80.05. Dogecoin SHIB plummeted 2.18 percent to Rs 13.27, while Memecoin SHIB lost 3.13 percent. Terra (LUNA) is now trading at Rs 6,408.4, up 3.19 percent.

Meanwhile, Intel is preparing to enter the Bitcoin mining market, beginning with the unveiling of a new Bitcoin mining "Bonanza Mine" chip at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference in February.
