The global crypto market worth grew 5.81 percent to USD1.31 trillion on May 31, with major cryptocurrencies trading in the green. The overall crypto market volume, on the other hand, grew by 80.30 percent in the last 24 hours to USD92.89 billion.

The overall volume in DeFi was USDUSD8.25 billion, accounting for 8.88 percent of the entire 24-hour volume in the crypto market. The overall volume of all stable coins was USD81.67 billion, accounting for 87.92 percent of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market.

Bitcoin reached a high of Rs 25 lakh. According to data from CoinMarketCap, the world's largest cryptocurrency increased its market dominance by 21.14 percent to 45.96 percent in the last day.

Notably, Bitcoin price scaled up 7.93 percent at USD31,780.51 at 2200 GMT on May 30, up USD2,334.8 from the previous closing. From its year-low of USD25,401.05 on May 12, the world's largest and most well-known cryptocurrency is up 25.1 percent.

On May 30, Ether, the cryptocurrency linked to the Ethereum blockchain network, climbed 9.8% to USD1,989.38, up USD177.54 from its previous closing.
