In a case of misdemeanour and murder, a criminal was found guilty after 32 years, with the help of napkin set aside and treated as unemployed. The prosecutor of Pierce County has accused Gary Charles Hartmann (66) of the first-degree murder and rape in the case of a case involving a 12-year-old girl in 1986.

According to the police, Michelle Welch and her two younger sisters went to Paget Park in Tacoma in Washington on March 26, 1986. At 11 o'clock in the morning, Michela went to bring food. During this time both younger sisters went to the washroom. When they returned, they did not see Michelle, both of them started playing. After a while, they found that there are a food and bicycle on the picnic spot but not Michelle. They told Baby Sitter about this. Baby Sitter immediately informed her mother about this.

After this, the police started searching for Michelle with the help of search dogs. That night, in the deserted valley, the body of Michelle was found. Police chief Don Ramsdale told that after the misdeed Michelle was murdered. The police mobilized the evidence but did not arrest anyone. Police produced a male DNA profile with evidence, but no such person was found in the province and national database.

In 2016 the police started the investigation again with the new technology. After this the police considered the suspects and started investigating and supervising two brothers. Meanwhile, Detective Steve Roopel reached a restaurant chasing Hartmann. Riopel told that after the Hartmann's restaurant, they sent his used napkins to the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.

On Tuesday, Lab told the police that the DNA present on the napkin raised from the place of napkin taken from the restaurant and the incident was done by the same person. After this, the police took the criminal into custody.
