The Haryana government in the country has banned the events related to solar eclipse in Kurukshetra. Along with this, curfew was also imposed in one kilometer area of Brahmasarovar from 19 to 21 June. The government spokesperson said that the time of solar eclipse in India will be from 10:20 am to 1:47 pm on 21 June.

He said that the District Magistrate, Kurukshetra has issued orders to impose Section 144 with immediate effect under the Criminal Procedure Rules 1973 for maintaining law and peace in one kilometer area of Brahmasarovar, contiguous lake, from 19 to 21 June.

Apart from this, he told that there will be a curfew from 9 pm on June 19 to 4 pm on 21 June. On the other hand, the cases of corona virus infection in the country are constantly increasing. In the last 24 hours in India, 14516 new corona virus infection cases and 375 deaths have been reported. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has now increased the total number of positive cases to 395048, including 168269 active cases, 213831 cured people and 12948 deaths.
