Commonwealth Games 2022 Live Updates: Indian shuttler PV Sindhu, who has won two Olympic medals, defeated Michelle Li of Canada 21-15, 21-13 to claim the gold medal in women's singles at the Commonwealth Games. 
The men's singles final will feature Lakshya Sen as the next player. Tze Yong NG of Malaysia will compete against Sen. In their gold medal match, Indian men's doubles team Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will also compete.

The Indian men's hockey team has a chance to make history as it seeks to end Australia's domination in the quadrennial extravaganza by winning its first gold medal. In the six CWG editions, India has not received a gold medal.

In the singles badminton competition, shuttlers Lakshya Sen and PV Sindhu would play their individual gold medal matches. India's men's hockey team needs to defeat Australia in order to win gold. Achanta Sharath Kamal, a legend in Indian table tennis, will compete in his gold-medal match on Monday.

On the ninth day, boxers made the country proud. For India, Amit Panghal, Nitu Ganghas, and Nikhat Zareen won gold in their respective weight divisions. Athletics also contributed some medals. Eldhose Paul and Abdulla Aboobacker won gold and silver in the men's triple jump, while Annu Rani took home bronze in the javelin throw. Sandeep Kumar won bronze in the men's 10000 m race walk. Table tennis also earned a silver medal.
