Bhopal: The weather is going to take a sudden turn in north India. It is likely to rain with severe thunderstorms today. In fact, the MET department says that the Bay of Bengal is under cyclonic storm pressure. The cyclonic storm is said to be called Jawad and will affect Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, while Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab may also be affected. It is also said that the storm is likely to cause sudden heavy rain and thunderstorms. According to the information received, the intensity of the storm will be very high and it is expected to damage trees and dilapidated houses.

You all must be aware that the monsoon is coming to an end from most parts of the country including North India, but some States are likely to receive heavy rain in the next 24 hours. The Indian Meteorological Department has recently informed about the same. He says heavy rain is expected on October 11 and 12. At the same time, it has been said that light to moderate rainfall may occur in parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Karnataka and Maharashtra by October 12. Clouds are also likely to lash parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha and Gujarat. In addition, light rain is possible in north-eastern India, Sikkim and West Bengal.

According to the MET department, Jawad will pass through Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and the sky will be cloudy and strong wind is likely to prevail. The impact of the storm will be visible from 17th to 18th October to Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, NCR and Uttar Pradesh.
